After researching the Easywalkers and speaking with
Mike and Wendy, I was convinced that I wanted to try our 9 year old mare,
percheron/quarterhorse "Hailey" with the easywalker shoes.
Hailey has experienced some heal pain in the
past and we have had her on an aluminium egg bar shoe, which seemed to help
her situation....up until recently, as well they have been breaking
her foot apart over time, so in working with her farrier we decided it was time
to try something else and I decided it was going to be the
"easywalkers" .
Hailey has had them on for 3 weeks
now and she seems to be moving much more freely, and we haven't
noticed any problems with them to date. I just ordered another pair to
have on hand and I am happy with them so far and I am hoping for it to
continue into future.
Mike and Wendy were so helpful in getting me
the info and the supplies it made the decision an easy one. Thanks so
much.
Kim and Shaelynn Peters and of course HAILEY.
Easywalker horse shoes. Excellent for carriage driving on the asphalt.
They provide a lot more grip and shock absorption than steel shoes and
are more permanent than hoof boots. We find that the horses have an
easier time starting and stopping, especially with larger carriages.

My daughter Bailey's gelding (Baileys' Bailey) has had lameness issues
for the last 2 years since receiving a bad stone bruise, he's been
noticeably lame on hard surfaces and prone to getting grit in his white
line and recurring abscesses. We put the EasyWalker shoes on his front
feet which were his problem area on Thursday, gave him a couple days to
get used to them, then Today (Tuesday, 5 days later) My daughter took
him for a test ride on trail, road and cantering through the snowy
fields. No signs of lameness on the road, he trotted and pranced like
his old self, and had great traction cantering in the snow. We're Very
pleased with the difference these shoes have made in such a short time.
